Social Media Manager
London, England, United Kingdom
VIVIR

Who we are

It’s an exciting time for Tequila! It’s the fastest growing spirits category in the world with the market growing by 22% since 2014 (Forbes, 2021). 62% of bartenders cite it as the top trending spirit (Bacardi Global Brand Ambassador Survey, 2021) and the Margarita is now the most popular cocktail ordered in bars across the UK, US & Australia (CGA, 2021).

We are the UK’s first independent craft Tequila with two award-winning brands:

  • VIVIR Tequila a super-premium collection of craft Tequilas designed for sipping, savouring and high-end mixology, which made Drinks International’s list of Top Ten Trending Brands in 2022.
  • El Sueño Tequila a range of responsibly produced Tequilas & Liqueurs with the mission to make everyone’s first taste of Tequila a good one, which placed in the Top 8 of NielsenIQ’s Top Fastest Growing Tequila Brands of 2022.

We are a small, committed team making real noise about changing perceptions of Tequila and with an ambitious long-term vision. We have recently opened our first office in White City, London, which is open 5 days a week - though we work flexibly, typically working together in the office 3 days a week.

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for an experienced Social Media Manager to develop and implement a social media strategy and lead our brand presence across multiple social channels. The Social Media Manager will identify social media initiatives within our wider brand delivery activities and be responsible for the planning and executing of social campaigns.

The role will involve the creative production of engaging multimedia brand content, alongside day-to-day activities including managing relationships with consumers and influencers, and analysing engagement data. The Social Media Manager will also bring in and manage relevant external agencies to help with bringing ideas and concepts to life.

It is expected that the Social Media Manager will be mobile and available to travel throughout the UK (and potentially internationally) to provide social coverage at a variety of brand activations spanning red carpet events, major music festivals and sponsored student society trips. Some evening and weekend work will be necessary due to the nature of the hospitality industry.

About you

This role will suit someone who has experience using social channels to build consumer brands and is immersed in the world of social media and its trends. We are enthusiastic of applicants who have experience of building consumer brands in a completely different sector outside of drinks, alcohol and spirits; we are ultimately looking for someone who will bring a fresh perspective and new ideas.

You will be willing to bring ideas to the table and able to interpret engagement statistics with a data-driven and strategic approach to social media planning and execution. As a creative thinker with great multimedia production skills, you will love generating campaigns and content that connects with audiences, and be a good copywriter who knows how to effectively create and adapt messages for each channel. You may also have knowledge of paid social advertising, which would be highly valuable here.

Working across multiple brands, you will have a dynamic and flexible working style, able to create and implement social media campaigns for different brand goals and audiences.

If this sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you!
